Our Delicious Cakes

Our cakes are very proud to be a part of a rich Caribbean culinary food heritage, which dates as far back to the 16th century, marrying a fusion of foods from different ethnic groups, that arrived on the island of Jamaica, of which included the British, can be traced back to this period. 

Numerous people of British Caribbean culture, as well as those from other ethnicities, adore this delicacy, which has a rich flavour and a story that is deeply rooted in the British Caribbean colonial history. Black cake, a staple of English-speaking Caribbean cuisine in places like Jamaica, Trinidad, and Guyana and Barbados, is very similar to the popular British Christmas plum pudding brought to the Caribbean during British colonialism.

We pride ourselves on both holding value to the foundational roots of Caribbean rum cake, whilst stamping a fusion of our London roots into our cakes. Our cakes are subjected to a lengthy soaking of fruits in fine wines and rum, caressed with a generous array of warm spices to tantalise your taste buds – This unique process allows for our product to taste magnificent.
